Mauro “Malang” Santos
Mauro “Malang” Santos spent his early days as a cartoonist for the Manila Chronicle but later opened his own gallery, which showcased his own works along with his contemporaries like Larry Alcala, Hugo Yunzon, and his mentor, “Gat” Gatbonton to name a few. He later transitioned to become one of the most well-known abstract figurative artists in the Philippines.
